Master Data Setup

Please follow the below steps to create iFIX Master Data. Have a look at the individual service documentation for details here.

1. Create the Government by providing valid government details. Once created, you’ll get Id with provided details in the response. We call this id a tenant id.

2. Create the Chart of Account (COA) by providing valid details. While creating, you need to pass the valid tenant Id in the COA request. Once created, you’ll get an id with all the provided details in the response. We are calling this id as COA Id and a code as COACode.

3. Create the Department by providing valid details including tenant Id. Once created, you’ll get an id with provided details in the response. We are calling this id as Department Id.

4. Create the Expenditure by providing valid details including tenant Id. Once created, you’ll get an id with provided details in the response. We are calling this id as Expenditure Id.

5. Create Department Hierarchy by providing valid hierarchy details of the Master Department. FYR, please check this doc.

6. Create Department Entity by providing valid details. FYR, please check this doc.

7. Once all the details are successfully created from step 1 to 6 , you can create a project by providing valid details. FYR, please check this doc.
